Who is Sangita

I am a dedicated art psychotherapist, photographer, and consultant committed to harnessing the transformative power of art to foster healing, connection, and personal growth. My work is driven by a deep belief in the therapeutic and educational potential of creativity, ensuring meaningful impact through collaboration and engagement.

Based in the North West of England, I holds an MA in Art Psychotherapy Practice, an MA in Photography, and a BSc in Psychology and International Relations. I am a registered art psychotherapist (HCPC & BAAT) and an educator, with over 20 years of experience working with children and young people in both mainstream and SEN education. My extensive background enables me to create inclusive, supportive, and inspiring environments where individuals can explore self-expression and personal development through art.

I have led numerous creative projects for schools and community groups across the UK and internationally, championing the role of the arts in education, mental health, and social change. As a practicing artist and documentary photographer, I integrate my own creative practice with her therapeutic and consultancy work, ensuring an authentic and informed approach to every project she undertakes.

Passionate about the intersection of art, education, and well-being, I continue to advocate for the arts as a powerful tool for transformation, whether through one-on-one therapy, community initiatives, or large-scale collaborations.
